Allana Ferguson bio
Allana was first a part of Australia at Rugby Sevens back in 2013. After suffering multiple knee injuries over time, Allana switched to rugby union. Allana played her first women's match in the 2015 season of rugby league and played in the game for New South Wales in a match against Queensland. Allana also added radio to the roster, and makes frequent appearances in the 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana holds a professional teaching qualification outside of sports. Allana Ferguson is the only australian to have represented Australia in rugby sevens and in rugby league in addition to touch. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos athlete who played rugby league for many years, has had to end her professional career prematurely after she tore her ACL a fourth time. Ferguson had already torn ligaments in the same knee between 15 and 17, but after tearing her fourth ligament, it was game over for the 25-year-old. Ferguson, JILLAROOS' playmaker, has been required to quit early from the squad after suffering an ACL tear in the left side for the fourth time. Ferguson was the JILLAROOS' player, announced that news to The Courier Mail this week following an injury sustained during training in November.
